The LM-79 test refers to the photoelectric measurement of solid-state lighting products, mainly testing the luminous flux, light intensity, color degree, etc. of the product. The LM-80 luminous flux maintenance (LED) life standard, the main test is the maintenance of the luminous flux output rate, that is, the life test of the LED light source.
The main test of LM-79 is the photoelectric performance test. Since some test items need to be completed with the help of a distributed photometer, general manufacturers are unable to make a complete report. This test is generally aimed at manufacturers of complete lamps. The main test items are as follows:
1. Total luminous flux
2. Luminous efficiency
3. Light intensity distribution
4. Correlated Color Temperature (CCT)
5. Color Rendering Index (CRI)
6. Chromaticity coordinates (or chromaticity coordinates)
7. Input AC (or DC) voltage
8. Input AC (or DC) current
9. Input power (DC or AC)
10. Input voltage frequency
11. Power factor
LM-79 is a method for electrical and photometric measurement of solid state lighting products, a test method for all LED products, including test content:
1. Electrical parameters (power, voltage, current, power factor)
2. Color parameters
3. Luminous flux, light effect
4. Light intensity distribution
5. Chromaticity inhomogeneity
LM-80 mainly measures the lumen maintenance of LED light source. This test is aimed at light source manufacturers, so manufacturers of lamps and lanterns only need to ask your light source manufacturer for this test report. LM-80 is for LEDs Test method for lumen maintenance rate of light source, for LED light source instead of LED light bulb and luminaire, including test content:
1. Luminous maintenance rate of light source at different temperatures
2. The chromaticity maintenance rate of the light source at different temperatures LM-80 mainly tests the maintenance rate of the luminous flux output, that is, the life test of the LED light source:
1. Display index
2. Initial value
3. Luminous flux
4. Lumen maintenance rate
5. Light decay
6. There are 3 temperature points to be measured, 55 degrees, 85 degrees, and the customer also needs to specify a temperature point (such as 105 degrees). Each 25 points requires a total of 75 samples; only two temperatures can be used, but most of them are three a temperature.
Note: Luminous flux refers to the light energy radiated from the surface of the light source that can be visually perceived by the human eye, and its calculation unit is lumens (lm).
LM-79 and LM-80 relationship to ENERGY STAR:
LM-79 ENERGY STAR has a large number of optical parameter requirements, and its test methods all refer to LM-79 as the test method standard.
The test data of LM-80 is used as the reference data of the luminous flux of the finished light source to calculate the luminous flux maintenance rate and chromaticity maintenance rate of the finished lamp. -79 and LM-80 tests are very important for LED indoor lights, so Hangzhou Hongpu Light and Color launched HPG2000 rotating probe vertical goniophotometer (full space goniophotometer) fully meet LM-79-19, EN13032-1 terms, CIE S025, SASO2902, IS16106 and GB and other requirements for optical parameter testing. In addition, there are HPG1800 single-arm horizontal distribution breadth meter and HPG1900 double-arm horizontal distribution photometer, which can automatically test the 3D system of light intensity distribution curve. Test requirements for various light sources, such as LED light sources, plant lighting, HID light sources, indoor and outdoor lighting, street lights and floodlights and other lighting fixtures.
HPG1800P is a spatial spectral radiance distribution photometer for measuring the luminous intensity distribution of rotating lamps. When performing light intensity distribution test, the spatial spectral radiation distribution photometer can realize spatial CCT, CRI and other color parameter tests. The equipment is mainly used in the measurement of photometric parameters in industrial laboratories, which mainly test LED lamps, plant lighting, HID lamps and fluorescent lamps. A type C spectrophotometer that fully complies with EN13032-1 clause 6.1.1.3, LM-80, LM-79, IES-LM-75, (EU) 2019/2015, CIE-121 and CIE-70
